Leonid Afremov

I have recently become aware of the painter, Leonid Afremov. He creates his oil paintings using a palette knife rather than a brush. I'm fascinated by the way he paints and the way he can capture the light reflecting off of rain and wet streets.

So while this art isn't directly related to fashion, Emily and I created this blog so we'd have a means to share our inspirations...and this is a perfect example of the "whole point" of this blog.

New Wedges.

My little sister Erin gave me these beautiful leather wedges for Christmas! I absolutely love them and cannot wait to where them, especially since they're surprisingly comfortable.

Vogue came in the mail yesterday. This magazine always makes me feel good, regardless of my state of mind.

Natalie Portman is heavenly.
