I have recently become aware of the painter, Leonid Afremov. He creates his oil paintings using a palette knife rather than a brush. I'm fascinated by the way he paints and the way he can capture the light reflecting off of rain and wet streets.
So while this art isn't directly related to fashion, Emily and I created this blog so we'd have a means to share our inspirations...and this is a perfect example of the "whole point" of this blog.
