Everyone pulled out their best Harry Potter inspired outfits, to wait in the cold, first for tickets and then for seats, at the midnight premiere Thursday night. I have to say that everyone looked pretty awesome. The only problem was functioning during school on Friday on 3 1/2 hours of sleep. Also, Emily has been sick all week, and stayed home with a 103 degree fever, so she was there only in spirit.

Personally, the Fashion Fund, along with the Met Costume Institute Gala are my two favorite fashion events. Not to mention the amazing Vogue spreads that accompany them.

The CFDA (Council of Fashion Designers of America) and Vogue Fashion Fund awards were given out on November 16th. Karl Lagerfield, Carey Mulligan, and CFDA president Diane von Furstenberg presented Billy Reid (GQ Best New Menswear) with the grand prize. Eddie Borgo and Prabal Gurung were named runners-up.

Louisa, Emily and I went to Prescott Field afterschool yesterday, because we were having such perfect weather. What transpired was the most wonderful, fun, beautiful, exciting, and altogether lovely afternoon.
